Gorgeous male & female Mini lop Black Otter baby bunny kittens 8 weeks old (18/02/2015) available for loving new homes.
Both Parents are best in show winning black otter buck and doe.
These baby bunnies make excellent pets and are loving, affectionate and inquisitive.
They are funny to watch when they play and are exploring their surroundings. They are very fast learners and can learn tricks very easily. They can also be toilet trained.
They must go to new homes where they will be part of the family and get heaps of daily love and attention. They must be given plenty of toys such as cardboard boxes to explore and keep them active.
Our choice of black otter mini lops to breed has been based on characteristics such as the temperament of each parent, health, bone structure (especially shoulders), colouring, head profile, ear drop, and overall shape and size. All the babies have luxurious dense coats and nice solid bone structure.
We think the black otter mini lop rabbits are stunning in colouration and unbeatable for the cuteness factor. Mini Lop rabbits, as the name suggests have long floppy ears. Black otters have a mainly black coat with a white under (or scutch) coat, white fur underneath and a tan patch behind the crown which is often awarded points in shows based on size shape and good clean lines.
These mini lops are very small, cute and cuddly and they will not grow very large but no bunny should spend all day every day locked in a cage.
A lot of people get confused with Mini Lops and Dwarf Lops and think that the Dwarf Lop is the smallest, but the Dwarf Lop is twice the size of a Mini Lop. The average Dwarf Lop weighs around 2.5kg whereas the Mini Lop weighs an average of 1.5kgs.
Please ensure you have a hutch with bedding before purchasing any bunny and if you are lucky enough to buy one of our babies please bring a suitable box for travelling home.
We will provide a small amount of food for transition of our babies into your family and we will always be happy to make suggestions on all aspects of rabbit care.
