FREE PURE BRED MINI LOP RABBIT – FREE TO “APPROVED” HOME
I have a gorgeous, black, pure bred mini lop female bunny - she will be 4 years old in October. Our lives have become so busy, and as we have less and less time at home, I have had to make the heart wrenching decision that it may be time for us to think about her, and the option of re-homing her.
She is a very friendly little rabbit, and will run over and wait to be picked up. She will lie upside down like a baby in my daughters arms and be carried around. She loves cuddles, and is very well mannered – no biting. She used to be an indoor bunny, but got relegated to the outside when our puppy came along. She is litter box trained.
She would need to go to a home where she can be a "free range" bunny (ie not locked up in her hutch all day). She currently has the laundry side of our house as her area - she puts herself to bed at night in her hutch. She loves any opportunity she gets to be out in the garden, but like all rabbits, will sample any tasty plants whenever she gets the chance – she keeps the dandelions under control.
I would prefer her new home to not have very little kids, as she is very tiny and needs to be handled well. We would prefer her to not be exposed to dogs (unless friendly and non-threatening). She is unsterilised, so could only go to a home where no unsterilised male rabbits, or female rabbits only. We definitely do not want her to be used for breeding purposes! She has not seen another rabbit since we got her at 8 weeks old, so if you were going to introduce her to another bunny, it would have to be done sympathetically.
I will provide her with hutch (which is in as new condition with a weather cover etc), and all food and accessories that we have for her.
She is really a gorgeous little girl, and we are very keen to see her go to a gentle and loving home.
